Bringing Victorian London to Life: dsevents x Savvy Partners x Disney+

At dsevents, we thrive on creating immersive experiences, and our latest collaboration with Savvy Partners for the Disney+ media event was no exception! We were beyond excited to be entrusted once again with curating the entertainment for such a special occasion.

Hosted in a stunning industrial venue in the heart of Athens, the event brought together journalists, influencers, and marketers for an exclusive first look at "A Thousand Blows", the brand-new Disney+ production. Set in 20th-century England, the series explores the gritty world of bare-knuckle boxing in Victorian London's East End — an aesthetic that inspired every element of the event’s design.

To bring the spirit of the series to life, we carefully curated an entertainment lineup that transported guests straight into the world of A Thousand Blows. The Ring Master stepped into the role of a referee from the series, and welcomed guests with theatrical flair, setting the mood with lines straight from the show. His energy was infectious, building anticipation for the screening.

The Card Master was dressed in impeccable Victorian attire, and dazzled guests with his sleight-of-hand magic tricks, combining mystery with humor for an unforgettable experience.

Together, these two performers set the perfect tone for the evening, ensuring an engaging and immersive lead-up to the highly anticipated episode premiere.

Beyond the performances, every detail of the event was designed by Savvy Partners to reflect the world of A Thousand Blows, with cinematic snacks, themed décor with ropes and haystacks along with many games and activities. A boxing machine and a mini football setup added an interactive element, keeping guests entertained throughout the night.

The lights dimmed, the crowd hushed, and as the episode began, there was an undeniable buzz of excitement in the air. This wasn’t just a screening—it was an experience.
